Pastor Danny Lightner to Lead Adult Ministries, Christian Education

Danny is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College, Lancaster, PA, and holds a Master of Divinity degree from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary of South Hamilton, MA. Pastor Lightner has ten years ministry experience, the last six at Calvary Bible Church in Derry, NH. Danny has served as a Youth Pastor, Young Adults Pastor and Associate Pastor. Danny’s gifts of administration, teaching and preaching God’s Word will help our ministry as we develop fully functioning followers of Christ. Danny is married to Sarah and has two daughters, Grace and Hanna. Pastor Lightner and his family will be with us on February 14 to speak in both the Celebration and River services. Danny and Sarah will attend our Valentine’s event that evening, so those attending will have an opportunity to meet them and give a grand Iowa welcome. The Lightners anticipate moving to Des Moines in March or April depending on housing arrangements. Pray for the Lightners as they go through the steps of transition to Des Moines.
