As Pastor Mike mentioned last Sunday, we are designed to live with spaces of margin in our lives. This time is beneficial for rest and renewal. Having margin also allows us to spend quality time with God. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, here are some steps to help you continue to grow closer to God and build His kingdom.

The Love [GOD] List

DAILY

  • Connect with God in prayer
Philippians 4:6—Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
  • Connect with God in the Bible
Psalm 119:105—Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

WEEKLY
  • Connect with God in worship
Matthew 11.28—Come to me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.
  • Connect in relationship with an unbeliever
Matthew 22:39—You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
  • Connect with believers individually or in a group
Proverbs 27:17—Iron sharpens iron,so one man sharpens another.

MONTHLY
  • Connect with God for one uninterrupted hour
Psalm 46:10—Be still and know that I AM God.
  • Connect with the world through ministry
Hebrews 13:16—Do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

YEARLY
  • Mark the milestones of your spiritual journey
Ephesians 5:15–16—Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil.
  • Plan for the year ahead
Isaiah 32:8—The noble man devises noble plans; and by noble plans he stands.
