Baptism

FFC conducts baptisms 3-4 times a year during the morning worship service. We baptize by immersion. If you have put your trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior and would like to be baptized, please call us for more information.

Caring Disciples

Just as Jesus extended care and compassion to others, we need to follow His example and extend it to those in our fellowship. Some individuals in our church family are confined to home or to a care facility. They would love to have a visit from someone from FFC who would simply say “we care about you”-perhaps read a Scripture verse or two and pray with them. Would you like to be part of such a loving program? If so, please let us know you would like to be a Caring Disciple.

Parish Nurse

The nurses of FFC have joined together to combine their expertise in nursing with their belief in treating all aspects of an individual: physical, psychological and spiritual. Ministries include visiting the sick and shut-ins, developing health education programs, developing health screening clinics, arranging for referrals within the community, providing blood pressure checks before and after the morning worship services and discussing spiritual needs. If you know of someone who has a need or if you have any questions, please contact us.

Visitation

If you have a scheduled time to be hospitalized for surgery or treatment, please let us know and we would like to come and pray with you. We will also follow up with you while you’re in the hospital or skilled-care center. Visits and prayer can be a great help to encourage you during that very uneasy time. We will also arrange for visits in your home if you are confined, and perhaps our Parish Nurses may be of assistance.

*A federal law now greatly restricts the disclosure of patient information by hospitals. As a result, the church may not know that a member or regular attender of FFC has been admitted to the hospital. If you are hospitalized and would like to receive a pastoral visit, it is important that you (or a family member) inform the church office as soon as possible. Call us at 255.2122 at any time (after normal business hours you may leave a message or get the number of someone you can call in case of an emergency).

Weddings

Would you like to be married at FFC? Our Wedding Coordinator, Judy Hahn, and Director of Media Ministries, John Stark, will help you plan this special event in your life. Our policy is that in order to marry at FFC you must be a member/regular attender of FFC or be the son or daughter of a member/regular attender.

We celebrate communion on a bi-monthly basis during the morning worship service or during a special event. We have an open table, meaning that if you have put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, you are welcome to participate.
