Our Foundations Series is an ideal place to establish your faith. In addition to developing relationships with other growing believers, these classes will help you develop a spiritual foundation on which to build your life. These five­, eight–week courses are scheduled at various times throughout the year.

Foundations

Have you stalled on your spiritual journey? Do you need to establish some positive spiritual habits? This class will help you establish the proper foundation for your spiritual life. In this study you will learn how to establish the practices you need to build a spiritual foundation that will last for eternity. Developing this type of foundation will help you continue to grow in spiritual maturity and your passionate commitment to Jesus.

Fellowship

Fellowship is an important part of the DNA of the Church. If you are not part of the vibrant community of faith here at First Federated Church this class is for you! The first three weeks of this elective cover membership at FFC. The following five weeks are focused on a study of how God has shaped you to be an active contributing member of His Church. If you are interested in becoming a member of FFC and learning how God has equipped you for ministry, sign up for this class.

Faith

What are the basic truths of the Christian faith? How do we understand God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, salvation, sin, and other significant truths of the Bible? What are the “theological building blocks” that form the foundation of your faith? To understand and be able to communicate the foundational truths of your faith, this class is a must for you.

Ministry

God has created each of us in a unique and special way. He also has carved out for us a way to contribute to His plan…a way that is designed specifically for you. What spiritual gift has God given you to enable you to serve effectively in ministry? How do your experiences factor into your ministry involvement? To get answers to these and other important questions about your important role in ministry, join this study.

Mission

God created you for a mission that only you can fulfill. Are you prepared for it? The Mission elective is only right for you if you are really ready to move “out of the building, off of the property, and beyond yourself.” This challenging 8–week elective will prepare you to tell others about the impact Jesus has had in your life. It is a story only you can tell. To reach the highest levels of the mission for which God created you, join this class.
