Student Ministries | 7th-12th Grade
Heirborn? What does that mean???
According to God's awesome Word, as children of God through faith in Christ we are heirs or inheritors of God's promises and most importantly the promise of eternal life. (Rom 8:17; Gal 3:29; 4:7) The leadership of Heirborn Student Ministries strive to continue Christ's command to make students into disciples of Him. Read what we are all about in our Vision Document.

What our Youth Ministry is All About
Sunday Morning Impact

9:00-10:15am | Back Door
IMPACT takes place every Sunday 9-10:15am in the Back Door. This is a time to learn about relevant issues and how they apply to Scripture and our lives. Come and learn something new every week!
Wednesday Night Small Groups
6:30-8:00pm | Back Door
SMALL GROUPS happen most Wednesdays 6:30-8:00pm during the school year. We divide into groups and spend time studying God's Word, discussing life, and applying God's teaching to our lives. It's an incredible time to grow closer to one another as well as to Christ! Get plugged into a small group today! It's never too late.
Hangtime
HANGTIME happens on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Sunday nights of each month. This is a great time to just hang out with your friends and get to know each other better. Locations and activities change each week so check the newspaper to find us!

These groups are designed for those students who want to take on a leadership role and do the work of the ministry in the High School ministry. We are trying to follow the Ephesians 4:12 model of training others to do the work of the ministry. You will be taught leadership skills, Biblical principles of ministry and be able to use your God-given gifts and talents to serve your peers as well as God. SMTs, as we like to call them, meet monthly.
The teams that we currently have are as follows:
- Worship: Use your musical talent to serve the Lord
- Prayer and Encouragement: If you like to pray this one’s for you!!
- Welcome: Are you friendly and do you have the gift of hospitality and encouragement?
- Hands: Clean and organized is this teams job as well as serving and selling food
- Media: Behind the scenes machines is what we are, working the soundbooth and powerpoint and hooking up every cable imagineable.
- Drama: So you think you are Brad Pitt or Halle Berry? Come and give it a shot!!!
